Short answer

Short answers to the most common decision points, with links to the full route for each situation.

We never ask for your account address, password or verification code. AccountsAid cannot recover an account for you.

Questions that change the route

Open the linked guides for the full explanation.

  • Can someone recover it for me?

Google does not work with third-party account or password support services.

  • Will a new phone restore access?

Not automatically. You still need a previously configured factor or Google's recovery checks.

  • Does a security hold mean rejection?

No. It is a delay while Google assesses the recovery request.

  • Can a disabled account be reset?

A disablement uses Google's appeal path, not a normal password reset.

Questions people ask

Can a paid service approve recovery?

No outside service can make Google verify ownership. Keep passwords and codes out of third-party forms.

Is there a fixed retry limit?

Google says there is no limit on recovery attempts, but another attempt should use the best available account context and answers.

Does a new phone prove the account is mine?

No. It may restore a number you control or hold a future method, but it does not replace the owner checks.

Is a security hold the same as rejection?

No. A hold delays processing; a failed ownership check is a different result.

Will a password reset clear a disabled account?

No. Read the disablement notice and the appeal option shown by Google.
