Google Account disabled? Use the appeal route

Short answer

A disabled account is not a forgotten password. Read Google's explanation and, if you own the account, use the appeal path shown during sign-in.

Read Google’s disablement and appeal instructions

We never ask for your account address, password or verification code. AccountsAid cannot recover an account for you.

Read, then appeal

Do not try to treat a policy disablement as a password problem.

  1. Sign in in a browser

Google shows the disabled-account explanation there.

  2. Read the reason

Understand which account and policy are involved.

  3. Use Start appeal if available

Follow Google's instructions and wait for its decision.

No guaranteed reversal

Note: AccountsAid cannot review the case or promise reinstatement. An unsuccessful appeal can leave the account unavailable.

An appeal is a different route from password recovery

A disabled-account notice describes an account status. Repeating an ordinary password reset does not remove that status.

  1. Read — use the reason shown at sign-in

Google explains the disablement when you try to sign in. Read that message before deciding whether to appeal.

  2. Appeal — follow the offered route

If the account is yours, use Start Appeal when Google presents it and follow the instructions. Do not send an appeal or identity document to this guide.

  3. Outcome — plan around the result

Google decides the appeal. Some accounts may offer a way to download certain data; availability depends on the case.
