Choose the Google Account recovery route that matches your situation
Short answer
Begin with what you still control: a signed-in device, a recovery method, or neither. The right route changes when the account is disabled or managed by an organization.
We never ask for your account address, password or verification code. AccountsAid cannot recover an account for you.
Start with the state you can confirm
These choices lead to different next steps; they are not a sequence you must complete.
-
I can still sign in
Review security events and recovery settings before signing out of your only trusted device.
-
I cannot sign in
Use Google's account recovery flow for the account you own. Keep a familiar device available.
-
The account is disabled
Read the notice and follow the appeal route shown by Google. A password reset does not reverse a disablement.

| Help you select an official route and prepare answers you already know. | Verify identity, skip a second step, reveal a password, or influence Google's decision. |
A special account state needs a different destination
These conditions change the procedure even when the symptom is “I cannot sign in”.
-
A recently deleted account
Use the deleted-account guidance; availability is not guaranteed.
-
A work or school account
Check whether the organization enables self-service recovery or requires an administrator.
-
The code does not arrive
Diagnose the challenge and channel before treating the account as permanently lost.
